This is a feature request. I might take some time to hack on the plugin if I have some spare hours lying around.
GA is a wonderful service, and this plugin makes tracking traffic sources a snap, but I don't necessarily want to always be sending GA tags to every URL I shorten.
Nor do I want to manually enter the tags whenever I do shorten a URL I want tracked. Nor do I want to keep going back to manually delete the tags from URLs I don't want to receive the GA tags.
At least in my case, the list of domain names I want to track is pretty short: They're all names I control.
It would be a big enhancement if the GA plugin would auto-tag links (with the default settings) only if the domain is in a list defined in the settings. Changing the values on the shortening form would override this and tag the link anyway.
Cases:
Default settings, whitelisted domain name
GA plugin tags the URL before it is added to the YOURLS database
Default settings, unknown domain name
GA plugin does not tag the URL
Tag settings have been customized on the Add URL form
Settings from the form are used, and the domain name of the long link is ignored
I think that covers everything.
