Date format options

Maybe as a future request or maybe exists already, but i would like to save in the date tag only the year without the month and day. Is there a possibility to do this now, or is subject to a new feature in this plugin ? Thanks

I do not think that is currently possible because of the way dates are compared. Could you give an example of what you are looking for? Would the plugin only overwrite the year but leave the day and month untouched, or remove the whole date and then only save the year?

@simistef I have added this as part of two new options overwrite_month and overwrite_day. If overwrite_date is set but not the other two, then only the year will be written, and the month and day set to blank.
