When I first started using Conex, I found it awkward to use, because tab-hiding wasn't on, and there was no indication in which group is active without open the Conex menu. But all of my tabs were put into the default group, but then removing them also closed the tab. Why is the group close button connected to the closing.

In face, why does opening a tab also put it into a group.

I think that the adding and removing of tabs to the group should be independent of the opening and close state of actual tabs.

If you are in a non-default group, this is usually pretty prominent in the location bar

But all of my tabs were put into the default group, but then removing them also closed the tab.

?? if you press the close button in conex, it closes the tab -- that is expected behavior. Conex just gives you a view on containers and tabs and allows you to manage tabs to some degree.

Why is the group close button connected to the closing.

I don't understand what you mean with this, sorry

Mmmm ... I think Conex is not really what you are looking for. I don't really understand what you exactly mean.

Cheers,

Daniel
