Struggling to understand the changelog in v0.8.5

• What is the exact bug which is fixed ? Is it having any effects on number of training steps
• Which part of the code is changed and what impact is it having ? or what changes is done ?
• As well trying to understand concept of this :

resolve an issue where unintended artifacts occurred in trained models under certain conditions.
