As simple as LwDITA is to work with, unfortunately, customizing output still involves scary plugin work. The upside is, once you actually start the work, it becomes less scary. This chapter provides recipes for customizing both HTML and PDF output.
You can, especially for custom HTML, do everything you need using parameters to point to customizations. However, creating a plugin takes little extra effort and allows easy distribution to a department or remote offices.
