I am really grateful for your amazing work, I am studying your paper "Rough Terrain Navigation for Legged Robots using Reachability Planning and Template Learning" with the motive to understand your approach on training the traversability filter. I would be really grateful if you can help me to figure out your approach towards the generation of height maps which later will be used for training the model and I wanted to check my understanding that the elevation map goes through the dilation filter which takes care of 'nan' values and also normalizes the data which is crucial for promoting uniformity across diverse terrains and then this output is passed to the traversability filter.
I sincerely look forward for your reply, and once again would like to show my gratitude towards your work.
Regards,
Hussain Kanchwala.
