Some items need description. For example what does "free for everyone" do? Does it say my food is free to take for everyone in the network or does it just share the barcode info?

@erik8752 Yes a user guide would definitely be nice - good point.

Until I (or someone else) finds time for this:
"free for everyone" does not actually do anything. It's just something that's displayed. The way I'm using this in my office: If I put something in the fridge that I want to share, I check that box to let everyone know they can have it. (It's also useful, when I go on holidays and I know I can't finish something...)

Note that there's no permission system in ExpirySync: Regardless of the "free for everyone" checkbox, each user, who a location is shared with, can remove all of its products. (After all the fridge itself usually doesn't have a permission system either - so I don't intend to implement something like that ;-) )

Thanks very much for quick reply. If the button doesn't mean that I share all food with everyone on the street then it's ok.

Anyway it is a great app. It is the only one I know that can automatically find the product from barcode. Please keep it up

On my Nokia 6 the barcode scanner doesn't use flash and also the back button returns to main screen (instead of alowing manual input). However these are things I can live without.
