Issue description

When I play Samurai Shodown 3 on PS1 using Retroarch's PCSX, the game goes to a black screen when I'm going to fight and I can't get it out.

Step-by-step reproduction and logs

The game goes to a black screen when I go to fight Rimururu, could you fix this problem please?

@pcercuei works with interpreter so looks like a lightrec issue.

What's the game ID?

SCUS94206. As the reproduction description states you need Rimururu as your AI opponent, I got her at my first try but looking at it again it appears to be random. Attaching a savestate for standalone.

I'll have a look in January. Did you try to play with the cycles value?

Yes, doesn't seem timing related from what I tried.
