We've started an informal online meeting for the Life Itself Community on Thursday's.

These get togethers are intended to be fluid in nature (at least as our initial starting point), and therefore I wanted to create a discussion thread to lightly document the topics we've discussed.

Feel free to add thoughts if you feel called to, whether you were present or not, or simply use it as a resource to get an idea of some of the areas we have gone in our conversations.

Our first hangout 🎉
We traversed a mix of topics, starting with our 'why' for being on the call, moving into sitting with and sharing 'what is alive for us at this moment'. This took us into discussing The Diamond Approach, inquiry and witnessing, and the role being witnessed plays, vulnerability, sharing, how trauma projection or offloading fits into this, into insight and questions related to the Hub and what it is like to be there, and engage in the practices and how it has transformed over the years.

9 LI community members present.
This week we discovered that curiosity and connecting were key drivers for why people joined the hangout call.
We discussed the role of positivity and how to navigate its application to situations, particularly when we are in a space of lowness/feeling down. This lead us to flocking - as a learned trauma response. And the concept of 'being with' - ourselves, another and what is there. We discussed a members experience of living in Auroville, and why one person moved to Mexico, which finally brought us to connections, community and friendships and how we navigate and understand 'availability' of people to meet and connect.
