make and make install completed with only warnings, but when trying to modprobe I get the following error:

insmod /lib/modules/4.4.0-22-generic/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/mt7650u_sta.ko 
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'mt7650u_sta': Required key not available
