Alphabetical Folder and File Sorting

Hunting around, I can't for the life of me figure out how to implement this - then again, I'm no TypeScript expert (Hell, this is the first time I've even seen it!), so any pointers on where to look and how to implement would be great.

Also, I'm using Syncthing to keep my printers mass storage folder in sync with my central print file repo. This means there are a few hidden files, however, they are visible in the frontend. I'd like to hide them from the frontend too.
