Is this project abandoned?

I absolutely love mariner but I'm noticing that despite plenty of feature requests there hasn't been a release update in over a year. I understand this software is a gift by @luizribeiro to the community and there is no obligation for development to continue. I'm just wondering what the future holds for this amazing tool that drastically improved my resin printing experience. Are things in the works or should we move forward with the assumption that development has stopped?

Hey @dprossner! I wouldn't say it's abandoned. I haven't done any development on mariner myself lately because I haven't been using my 3D printer a whole lot and the software is in a state which does everything I personally need from it. However, I'd still be happy to discuss and merge pull requests from the community for new features. I have not abandoned the repo, but I have found that it's pretty hard to find people who are willing to contribute unfortunately.

If only it installed on newer versions of raspbian...

Is this project still usable? I read about file encryption, or newer raspbian version, and don't know if this issues are over or are blocking the functionality of mariner..
