somehow the kid kept jumping, as if I was holding the 'up' button. Even after he died and the game restarted, he kept jumping in an endless loop. eventually he stopped when he went up to the upper level...

Can you tell me what Roku model you have? What type of control?
Also, what Level and Room that happened ?

i have several models :) but thus far i've only played on Roku 3 (4200X) and i'm using an RF remote.
Level 1 (still haven't gotten past it!) not sure which room it started in, after he died and the game restarted he was still jumping up.

i just watched a shortcut on youtube ") maybe i can get through level 1 today!!
but now the kid went into a strange mode, where he's taking slow steps, looks like he's trying to moonwalk or something and he won't jump but he moonwalks and hangs onto the opposing edge and climbs up. This started after he broke up into the ceiling and drank the potion.

It's very strange behavior you are experiencing.

Just to clarify: The B key is a toggle on/off for the "Shift mode", so if you click once it will put the kid on a mode he will walk step by step, the size of the step will depend how close to the edge he is. When really close to the edge it will step and fall, if a wall is close to the other side it will hang, but not climb. That's the correct behavior.

As you describe it's automatically climbing ?

ah no must be i pressed B without realizing - yep - that's what it was, cool - at one point i was wondering how i could take smaller steps!
next i need to figure out how to sword fight and to take extra big jumps...

Reproduced this issue on Level 8 not with the Jump, but with the right key, will try to reproduce again.
