Here are applications that should be ignored by this extension, from the top of my head:

  • GIMP (already done)
  • Inkscape
  • Scribus
  • Darktable
  • RawTherapee
  • Shotwell
  • Mypaint
  • gThumb, digiKam
  • EOG (eye of gnome)
  • Synfig Studio

There are others possibly (if you look in GNOME Software's "Design" category - not sure how much they use multi-windows or are expected to color-pick) but I think those are the main candidates.

As I don't have al these applicartions installed, ma you help me with ths? can you open the applications you mentione, then open looking glass (Alt+F2, type lg + enter), click on the "windows" tab on top right corner of lg, scroll down to your app and note down the wmclass information (this is case senstitive)?
Then report the list here, plz?
Thanks!

"Shotwell" and "Inkscape" have the wmclasses of the same name (and case), just my 2 cents ;)

Steam (the gaming platform) might be another candidate for a whitelist entry; wmclasses are for both (main window and Friends list) "Steam".

But i'd like to append, that i would like to add/remove whitelist apps by myself via options menu.
