Camera Verification

Scrypted Management Console

Navigate to the camera in the Scrypted Management Console if not there already. It can be found within Plugin used to add it, or be searched within Devices.

Snapshot

The camera should have a snapshot preview visible.

Video and Audio

Click the snapshot preview to view the stream in the browser.

Motion Detection

Stand in front of the camera to trigger the motion sensor. The motion event should be reported in the Scrypted Events card.

Troubleshooting

The Console button in the camera's page within Scrypted can be used to view the logs for the camera, in case there are errors. The camera Plugin may also have documentation troubleshoot common issues.

Continue Setup

After verifying the camera stream and motion sensor functionality, continue on to the Platform or Scrypted NVR setup.
