scripts fail to launch if user saves a whole folder in IN box

Which they aren't supposed to be doing, but as no scripts are triggered, we aren't alerted that they have done anything at all. At minimum we should get some kind of error or alert, though if we could send an email to the submitter telling them to drop a single file, that would be best.
