Is the project still active? There is no much activity in the last years.

A better and more modern alternative is to use the LigerShark WebOptimizer (does LESS/Sass compilation too) NuGet packages, but it needs maintenance as well, though it is in a much better state. It was developed with guidance from Damian and Fowler and is pretty cool. My suggestion is that you consider taking ownership or allocate ongoing resources to the LigerShark WebOptimizer and recommend it over Bundler & Minifier in the docs and templates.
