To smooth out some features inside the circuit editor, I would like to suggest some changes in the controls.
Right clicking on a component would be more streamlined to delete it.
A middle-mouse click on a component already on the board should switch your active component to be that, similar to how Minecraft itself has a block switching feature to the block you're looking at.

Now that I'm a bit more familiar with the system I see why you can't use right click, since that is how you go about editing the component when there is no active component. I think the middle-mouse click is still plausible. It saves time to need to go back into the menu again if you already have one on the board.
