Vector tile request - how to get fields?

Hi,

I would like to use Martin like the pg_tileserv to serve vector tiles with MapLibre
This works:

map.addSource('layer', {
'type': 'vector',
'name': 'layer',
'tiles': ["http://127.0.0.1:4000/layer/{z}/{x}/{y]"]
});

But I also want to get the category field from the table, not only the geometry. How to get this?
With pg_tileserv this works:

map.addSource('layer', {
'type': 'vector',
'name': 'layer',
'tiles': ['http://127.0.0.1:4000/layer/{z}/{x}/{y].pbf/properties=category']
});

But the same code is not work where I try with Martin. Why? How to do this, if I use Martin server?

By default, Martin includes all non-geometry columns when publishing a table as a tile source

P.S. note that the tile source does NOT have a .pbf suffix
