"Offbeat L.A.: The Oldest Surviving Los Angeles Restaurants" is the more descriptive part of Nkki's title.

And "Data and Code" links to what is also about. But if someone ended up here without Nikki's info, they might be lost. Maybe change link title to "About and Code."

I like the Animation and Map links. Hadn't noticed them before, but it's been a while. Animation needs a legend—would be cool if the legend from the Map page was build with the animation, that is, add each decade of the legend as their corresponding dots are added. Or a dates could be added to the slider, like a scale or moving and changing with the slider.

This keeps improving.
