Mate-appearance-properties opens from terminal w/o throwing warnings
Actual behaviour
When opening mate-appearance-properties from terminal or from m-c-c launched from a terminal, we get these warnings:
(mate-appearance-properties:34711): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 15:12:11.817: GFileInfo created without standard::type
(mate-appearance-properties:34711): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 15:12:11.817: file ../gio/gfileinfo.c: line 1611 (g_file_info_get_file_type): should not be reached

No such key “theme”
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
Install glib 2.78 (I've heard this is true of 2.76 too but have not tested it, then open mate-control-center from terminal and select "change theme" or open mate-appearance-properties directly from a terminal. The warnings appear in terminal. These are the sort of warnings that can spam logfiles
MATE general version
1.27
Package version
Local build from git master as of 10-17-2023
Linux Distribution
Debian Unstable with locally compiled glib 2.78
Link to bugreport of your Distribution (requirement)
None as this is a local build
