When notification popup, it's timer will count only if PC is being used. If user is AFK, timer won't start until user is back to the PC.
The benefit, compared to current behavior is that user won't miss the notification if it popup when AFK. This feature exists in another notification daemon called Dunst (and it's showing how old each notification is).
Actual behaviour
When notification popup, it will timeout, regardless of PC being used or not.
