This image seems to be the most popular and active image for artifactory. However it installs artifactory version 3.9.2 which is far behind the current version 5.5.2.

Is there any reason not to upgrade to artifactory version 5.5.2?

This is not an official artifactory docker image, and was the only available one before jfrog started to rolling an official one.

Now it may be a good time to switch to the official jfrog docker image

I have created a simple mirror of Artifactory Docker images taken from JFrog Docker Registry and push to Docker Hub and Quay if you are interested : https://github.com/crazy-max/docker-artifactory
