Pluto / Samsung / Stirr / Plex / PBS / Roku - Playlists Removed [DMCA] #127
Comments
I will find a better way so users can generate there own playlists and links :) |
Thanks Matt, maybe you can reconsider the playlists, while I understand they're a pain in the butt, I, like many others loved and relied on them.. I hope the new solution is easy to use and has EPGs. God speed |
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, my vevo channels and New KPop are gone, but waiting for that docker container you cooking, nice project as always |
It's not about being a pain in the butt; it's about the fact that no sane person would put themselves in front of the speeding train that is the DMCA police. Matt is absolutely doing what needs to be done to protect himself. |
Warner Bros Discovery needs to go bankrupt at this point. They are the worst with David Zaslav tax writing off good shows while keeping the crappy ones up. They should had never merged discovery to warner bros. At&t should had been stuck with them they treated it way better. The only problem is these companies think redistributing FAST CHANNELS is illegal in this situation. Like if you think its illegal just put widevine drm on plutotv at that point. I believe it shouldnt be illegal to redistribute FAST Channels since you can easily grab an m3u8. |
Matt, I've switched to your plugins for Plex, Pluto, SamsungPlus and Stirr, but I cannot find one for Roku. Do you know if there is one, and if so where I can find it? |
There is one as of last night. Update the repo and check again 😉

Does anyone here know what happened to Apsattv.com? That site looks like it disappeared at about the same time. Coincidence? |
The guy hosting his site for him got takedown notice similar to mine so
took the site offline

This sucks, but it's fully understandable, you don't need the stress of DMCA take-downs. If it helps anyone else that uses Docker... |
I think there is also a service that hosts the direct Pluto playlist and
stirr maybe? I can't remember the site name

A heartfelt thanks for everything you've done up to now, and going the
docker container route would be awesome.
If it helps anyone else that uses Docker...
Matt's Samsung TV Plus docker container
<https://registry.hub.docker.com/r/matthuisman/samsung-tvplus-for-channels>
is working fine.
Pluto-for-channels docker container
<https://github.com/maddox/pluto-for-channels> by Jon Maddox is working
fine.
And Plex-for-channels docker container
<https://github.com/jgomez177/plex-for-channels> by jgomez177 is working.
They also have Docker containers for Pluto TV and Tubi

there's a guy did a script on php that one works too, last dmca he posted here |
Since we will be able to use docker to generate playlists, do you think there will be a way to block Pluto TV ads like cabernetwork does? Not sure how'd it work in Kodi tho as I can't get cabernetwork to work anymore no matter what... |
it was already using the samsung streams which dont have ads. they just show the samsung logo i believe |
also, https://github.com/cabernetwork/cabernet looks very similiar to my 'evil plan'. Basically the same concept but mine runs kodi addons (not dedicated plugins) |
It seems like cabernetwork replaces ads and bumpers with a completely black screen according to users which is different than the samsung pluto tv filter but I really can’t confirm if this would improve playback and prevent playback crashes on Kodi as I wasn’t able to get it working. Looking forward to your holy plan! |
Thanks Matt, just hoping it's more noob friendly and can be used outside of Kodi (e.g Tivimate). Also please include PBS Eagerly waiting |
Yes I use Tivimate also, and I only wish there can be new m3u8's, |
Hey Matt if you could make a docker for pbs using the pbs m3u list channels man that would be sweet.the current pbs bridge docker only gets my local pbs channels but ideally i'd like to run the pbs through channels dvr so hoping i can by using as a docker can utilize the widevine and theyll work in channels and not only tivimate and a few other players ive tried.Thank you for al you do Brother |
Yes, just find that this site down as well :<~~~ |
Hi all, i always use the german SamsungTV playlist directly in iplayTV on an Apple TV and converted as a TS-Stream via dvbviewer for my dreambox sat receiver. So, what are the options now if you don't use kodi? For the docker container: I do have a Raspberry Pi. Is there a tutorial somewhere how to set this up manually without using docker? Best regards |
Suddenly the tinyurl not work ;<~~~~~~~ e.g. |
now SamsungTV work but Pluto not |
So you are correct, |
can't access nocords.xyz... the tinyurl (PlutoTV) work 12~14 hrs ago. >_<~~~~~ |
nocords is still working for me , |
Reason is Matt (from i.mjh.nz) deleted a hidden JSON file he has in the PlutoTV folder where he stores the EPGS. |
Intentionally I assume? |
I don't think so, sometimes scripts work that way and accidentally return empty files. I am not sure though. |
intentional. another dmca. The author of the tinyurl script should be able to look at pluto kodi add-on latest changes and figure out what needs changing :) |
Oh ok, thanks for letting us know Matt and thanks for all your great work :) Saludos from México. |
Pluto resume ;> |
How can I fix Pluto TV service? Do I need to run that Google script again? |
Pluto is working again for me, same tiny URL, |
I guess I was using the local m3u playlist that I created a month ago for my TiviMate installation using dtankdempse's Google app script. Probably I'll have to run it again in order to update everything for the playlist. |
Well if so, it is working now on my tivimate as of yesterday, same web address

I'm having trouble accessing i.mjh.nz/SamsungTVPlus/.app.json. Did the URL change? |
Seems that Stirr EPG not work... I am using Tivimate to play the playlist. |
Check stirr epg on their website. It's always broken. It's just that
service. Best to assume no epg for it

To be clear, this playlist only contained: image urls and the channel urls pointed to an external domain
You can see they dont even mention what the copyright material is....
However, i cant be bothered trying to fight this,
The playlist stuff is just a pain in the butt anyway and I dont want to risk what I really enjoy (Kodi addons) for the sake of some playlists.
There is a near future plan to have a Docker container users can run locally that will allow using my Kodi addons to generate there own playlists etc! WIN! :)
