Gmail displays the wrong count on notification bar

When i have recieved one email to my primary inbox the count on the notification badgdes displays over 4000

Should display '1'

Release : 1.8.4 / win32 / x64

This issue is related to #1106 even though it's not the same service. The problem is in the way the service is configured to count messages. I will send a pull request for Gmail and Hangouts today if I can.

Anyway, this issue doesn't belong to this repository. 🙂

I also have the same problem. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? My unread messages for Gmail always shows like 17347 messages. This makes it so that I can't use the total notification count in the system tray since it always says 10+ on it.

No, this PR has never been merged, so the bug is still there.
