"No items found" when creating a gallery with "add media"

I was trying to add a gallery in a post/page. But after I push "post", the entire gallery shows just "no item found". Where should look for the problem?
p.s. The problem persists even if I change the theme or delete all custom added plugins. The images are stored on S3 AWS.
