Gnome 40 Support Contribution

Hi,
I am aware of the previous issues created for supporting Gnome-40.
Since I use this extension a lot, I would love to offer my support in migrating the extension to Gnome-40.
As I see it right now two tasks need to be done majorly

1. Change all old API calls in js files using GJS migration guide
2. Tweak perfs.js and template.ui as that seems to have changed in GTK-4

Is there any updates on what is the current state of development so I do not do re-work?

Hi,
I don't know if this could be helpful, but someone has created the vertical-overview extension.
I've tasted on a Manjaro installation and it works. This is something very new and under development. There's also a video and as you can see in the activities view a Dock-bar is still missing...

The first thing I thought is: that extension combined with Dash to Dock could do the job! :)

I have no skills and no idea how things work with extensions, but I'm quite sure that for the vertical nature of Dash to Dock, workspaces moving vertical instead of horizontal it's quite crucial.
