Bug: Variables being replaced with hardcoded values

Hi! We're seeing an odd issue regarding variables being removed from queries. It only emerged in the last 4-8 weeks.

Let's take a new query that contains dashboard variables such as this. The panel repeats across the schema variable

If i then close the panel and reopen it by clicking edit on the first of the repeated panels, the variables have now been removed.

If I then save the dashboard all of the repeated panels will have the same hardcoded query.

We're using the latest version of the plugin (1.9.1) and the latest main commit of Grafana v11.5.0-218188 (b309c5daed). Is it possible the extension doesn't yet support v11.5.0?
