I'm trying to understand how open issues are prioritized and how can an important issue receive the attention of the WSL development team.
Issue #6448 describes a WSL file system bug where, for no apparent reason, WSL looses access to the mounted Windows drives. It is an extremely frustrating experience where Linux scripts, make commands, and other commands stop working all of a sudden.
As far as I can see, there was no involvement in of the repository maintainers in this issue since Jan 25, 2021
I wonder if there is any active maintenance for issues labeled with "file system". Most such issues closed in the past by a bot: #3256, #4868, #6174, #5116, #6664, #3943, and more
This issue has been automatically closed since it has not had any activity for the past year. If you're still experiencing this issue please re-file this as a new issue or feature request.
Issue #6910 was closed, after being open for about a year and a half, because the author was inactive for 7 days!
