It's known that wsl2 has a virtualized ethernet adapter with its own unique IP address.
That means you only see one strange IP address and peers in your LAN cannot contact you directly without a proper workaround.
That problem doesn't exist on wsl1 but the functionality on wsl1 is very limited relative to wsl2.
