Multi-database / Database per Tenant #2462
-
Hello, the organization i am working for provides healthcare services to multiple clients (tenant) that require data segregation (physically and not logically) so i was wondering if there is any plans to support multiple database or database per tenant using the same FHIR service instance and if not if you have some best practices for this type of use cases. Thanks |

Hi @pgrapso - no plans that I can share right now. I would suggest spinning up multiple FHIR servers (or the FHIR service) and use some API management layer to route the requests to different backends depending on who is calling your service. |
