Allowing the DockerDevelopmentMode=Fast experience in VSCode would be a bit of game changer. There is quite a bit of magic VS2022 Container Tools perform that would need to be ported to VS Code.

I'd love to get involved and test. My team relies on Container Tools in VS but is looking forward to transition to VS Code.

I'm also looking todo this. I'm currently using devcontainers in vscode for most things, but there are a few that are still in visual studio setup with the dcproj that im stuggling to port it...i like how it can start multiple projects in containers and you can debug them at the same time... not sure how to do this in vscode.

It would be awesome to have something similar in VSCode, specially for debugging and running multiple projects
