Ignore history and active environment when launching VSCode.

I am unable to reliably ensure that VSCode always opens with the correct python environment for my workspace. I just want to set it to the .venv file in the root dir.

Is there some sort of global setting to ignore:

• The history of what I was doing last session
• The python environment I have open when I launch it
• Anything and everything else that could affect it

Setting the environment once should cause the extension to use it going forward. If that's not the case then please file a bug using the "Report Issue" command.

It's set in VS Code's internal storage.
