👋 Hi everyone!

Trying things a little different, and looking to give some insight into upcoming features and what's ahead. Look out for more future announcements going forward.

This is Part 1 of UI / UX Reimagined - focusing on the why, with a sneak peak into how your movies will look and feel in the new design. So let's get into it!

Why a redesign?

This had to be more than just a fresh lick of paint! We had to identify why the user interface needed a redesign, and how the current design could be improved upon. While the current design simply lays out your media, it lacked the emphasis it placed on your media. Your media should be front and center no matter where you and your users are on the site.

Emphasis was the focus of this design, and you can see this with your media, the supporting metadata, all the way to page headers. We really wanted to emphasise your media.

Mobile

While emphasis on your media was our focus, we also took into consideration how future improvements would look and fit into this. We feel this design gives us the space and ability to easily add more interesting features in the future. We look forward to sharing more about this soon.

Until next time, please feel free to drop any feedback on the redesign or ideas you may have. We will be releasing this into a beta phase as always, and we look forward to getting this into your hands as soon as possible!
