Data without Gateway?

thanks for your awesome work.
Is it possible to use your tool without a gateway? I just have the Air Purifier but without the gateway. It lt looks like just using the Purifier's IP wont work.

Would be great to have your feedback.

Hi Clemens,

at the moment this will no work, as my implementation is specifically focused on the gateway. As I saw the miio library supports the Air Purifier, but again its hard to implement and test without having any of those devices :/

I might spend a few hours within the next weeks to update the plugin, maybe I can check out that request and see what would be possible.

Hi. I can halp with testing with Mi Purifier 2.
I think requesting specified capabilities by IPs given in config would work the best as the hum and temp or other callouts are the same (or similar) based on miio docs.

I think script can have given IP and token for every each device in config and show infos based on miio library. So you will have temp, hum, pm2.5 and current status f.e.

That will be great :)
