Trial Chambers show up in Hardcore

I have a hardcore 1.20.4 world that I added this mod to. Trial Chambers and the Breeze spawners are spawning. I copied the entire world and opened in Lan in Creative and the Trial Chambers were not there. Why did they show up in Hardcore mode?

The hardcore difficulty shouldn't have made a difference. Make sure that you're following the instructions in the readme on how to add this to an existing world.

I did follow the instructions which is why I was so confused about it.
