Is this the same datapack that Hermitcraft is using?

What happens when 1.21 comes out? Will the world need to be re-created, or should things upgrade, or do you need to manually remove the datapack?

It should work without problems. When 1.21 is released you can remove the data pack, and the world will upgrade without problems. But of course take a backup of your world first.
