We don't use python3 yet and haven't done much investigation into converting our main codebase - do you have any idea how hard it would be for this project? If someone created a PR that converted the project to work on both python 2 and 3 then we'd definitely be up for merging it.

Indeed we are, and we still maintain it although slowly. We'll try and ship a new build over the new year as we have some downtime from work.
