Issues

  • Fuel Oil power is too good
  • Deuterium build is too small
  • Thorium is currently useless
    • Deuterium is better in pretty much every way (small self contained process)
  • Need more large late game power drains

Suggestions:

  • Make Thorium make train fuel
  • Make Thorium required to run Deuterium
  • Add Angel's Industries for Angel's nuclear
  • Massively increase rocket silo power consumption
  • Remove Thorium
  • Make thermal refining require nuclear heat
  • Move deuterium to space science
  • Convert the direct sort of uranium into mixed sorting, producing uranium, thorium and plutonium

Constraints

  • Make sure fusion bots can still be made practically
  • RTG needs to be available at Blue Science. Required for Bob's Character Classes

Need more large late game power drains

suggestions for this:

  • increase power consumption of higher tier buildings and increase their crafting speed. This way more advanced buildings will be faster but also consume more power.
  • increase power consumption of speed modules and buff their speed bonus.

also:

  • decrease pollution of higher tier power sources. This would incentivize their usage in games with biters.

There are no biters in Sea Block. Pollution does nothing except turn water green.

IMO Fuel Oil Power isn't too good.
Charcoal & Charcoal Pellets -> Solidfuel -> FuelOil -> Nuclear
These steps seem to be pretty balanced. Nerving FuelOil would make the Nuclear step even stronger (already pretty strong)
