Questions about loading mt3dms model

When I build a modflow2005-mt3dms model. I want to load both models again and make some modifications. I made modifications to the ssm part of mt3dms and when I ran the model again I found that util_array.py told me it was trying to reset the btn and dsp modules. Since my programming skills are not good enough, my only solution is to go into the python file -- util_array.py and comment out the print. Can anyone tell me if there is a more elegant way to avoid this problem? I sincerely thank you for your answer.
