They are too big and they also mess up the format of the PDF.
A reduction of 30-35% should be enough.

I wonder if we can change the size of the margins for the pdf document, which would allow a better layout of the images.

I already tried that using the flag --variable geometry:margin= . Tried with 1inand 0.5in. The format was still messed up. I think we will have to use --variable geometry:margin=1in and also resize the screeshots.

Okay, haven't had a chance to play around yet, was just thinking aloud.

Using GitHub markdown (https://pandoc.org/MANUAL.html#extension-link_attributes), I was able to control the size of images:

[Language](media/wizard_1-lang.png){ height=70% }

Advantages. We don't have to recapture images. Printed documents will look better. Can be modified for each language.

Disadvantages. Need to included markup in every translation. Some browsers' scaling does not look as good as that of an image scaled by a dedicated graphics program.

I think the advantages here are not that influent for our decision. The PDF is not meant to be printed and we don't need to resize pictures for every language. #73 Will reduce the size of the margins. After that i think it's enough to just resize the screenshots themselves. I'm open to any other solution tho.

Sounds like a reasonable solution to me.
