@vesta0 @Sdaswani would this be good to include in the product roadmap? |

I think so but it's mainly a BD conversation that @vesta0 has to initiate. I don't think there is any engineering work to be done? We already have a URL scheme right? |

We do not currently have a URL scheme to do this. I'm updating this to be blocked on #128. |

@sblatz are we sure we need the whole SDK? could they not just open with our URL scheme which we definitely have. I guess it depends on how the Reddit app is structured and what they're looking for, but I imagine they'd be much more willing to add a one line link vs entire SDK. I think this should be low priority until they actually agree to add it (which is obviously some sort of product discussion to be had). |

I thought we had a URL scheme - that’s definitely the way to go. |

Ah, good catch, @oliviabrown9! I totally missed that. Removing blocked label 😄 |

User benefit
Anecdotally, I've often heard the use case where users like to use focus to open random links from the Reddit app: it would be cool if we could bring this to iOS.
This functionality just works on Android but, afaik, we have to explicitly talk to Reddit to get ourselves added.
