We want to make it easy for people to find github repo for IETF drafts and be able to contribute. At the same time we want to make sure the management of this is scalable. This has lead to a proposal of one repo for the WG with a team for all the people that can merge PRs into this repo. (anyone can contribute by forking the repo and sending a PR). The WG chairs are the team maintainers and can add and remove people the team that can merge in PR. Having a repo per draft was considered.
-
Create the repo using the name of the WG
-
Create a team of committers using name of WG and apending committers
-
Make the WG chair administrators of the team (TODO)
-
Make sure the README has the correct NOTE WELL and Contributing text
-
Decide how you will work, can just a few people merge PR from forks or will you have lots of people that write to the repo
-
Add directories for each draft and put the drafts in them
