In other words, add `grass_block_snow.png` as a texture
Also, apply the new distance fixes from #56
Since it was still a bug in 1.16

If you're reading this, you'll also want to make a 1.17 branch now that it's out. That shouldn't require any changes to the repo, though (maybe aside from the README). |

Closing since I intend to do further work on my fork of the project. Will reopen a PR with just the compatibility changes (and not separate fixes I intend to add to my fork). |

Did a quick fork and made a new branch that should (hopefully) be compatible with 1.16.X. Took out all the 1.17-only fixes and added back some ones that got superseded by the snapshots. If there's anything missing/broken, let me know.
Should be merged in as a new branch. Resolves #50, at least for the latest release.
