Ahoj Martin,

thanks for the app, i just discovered it today and already bought it, will use old tablet on the wall for my nextcloud photos.

One thing is not working, i enabled weather in the settings and have chosen Vienna as a city, however on the slideshow it shows SSLHandshake exception instead of the weather. Could you please fix it?

Unfortunately this is most probably a limitation of your Android device being too old. Please see http://www.android-photo-frame.eu/faq.html Getting “SSL Handshake Aborted.

I have Amazon Fire 10 Tablet, 9th generation, it is not that old, so it surprises me it doesn't support TLS 1.2, but never mind, not a big issue.

Vdaka za rychlu odpoved :)

I just checked that the Fire OS, that i have is based on Android 9, which supports TLS 1.2. Could it be that only some root certificate is missing and can be added to the OS? I will try to find out, once i will be home.

Android 9 should definitely support TLS 1.2. Very strange. Perhaps if you could obtain the full exception stacktrace of the exception, then we could learn what the exact problem is. You can download Android Studio to do that.
