Becoming a maintainer

Hi OSR community! With a fast-moving project like this we're always on the lookout for maintainers to join the team. As a maintainer you:

• are able to review and merge others' PRs
• help decide on the future of the OSR
• work with and learn from the other maintainers
• get a maintainer badge on GitHub!

To become one, you:

• must have built an OSR
• must have contributed significantly to either the open-source-rover or osr-rover-code repositories
• must be able to attend bimonthly maintainer meetings
• must be able to dedicate a few hours each month to contribute to the project and help other builders
• must be able to commit to the above for a period of minimum 6 months
• no affiliation with NASA or JPL is needed
