Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
can't access to a public page address easily

  • have to copy main page public address
  • copy it to browser
  • navigate to the desired page
  • copy its address from the browser url field

Describe the solution you'd like
create public link in the drop down menu of each page
access the same type of menu as on the main page

#1041 is adding both multiple shares per collective (one editable, one read only) and shares for pages and their sub-pages. After that landed there is no easy way anymore to tell what the correct link for a given page would be.

So instead of a menu entry what might be feasible is listing all the parent shares in the new Sharing sidebar tab and allowing to copy the link from there.

Hi
thanks, I'm not sure I understand what you wrote.
I suggest simple items in the drop down menu :

hi

we answered here: #920

adding on-click-access to public link, would have allowed us to avoid:

  • go to the menu of the collective
  • click the public link
  • open new tab
  • paste public link of the collective
  • navigate to the page we want to share
  • copy the url from the url field of the web browser
  • close the tab
  • come back to the collective we are editing or the email we are writing to paste the public link of that page we wanted!

I hope this makes sens to more people than the people of my team ^^
