[Bug]: Unable to Upload files in Images / Album Area

Bug description

If you open Images / Album, create an Album and try to upload images from your local drive, the status bar for the uploaded flashes up and disappears immediately. files can not be uploaded.

it is only possible to add files to an album, if they were previously uploaded to the normal nextcloud files area.

Steps to reproduce

1. open images application
2. open album, create an album
3. try to upload images directly into the album from your local drive.

Expected behavior

it should be possible to upload files directly as proposed by the UI

Your issue may be a duplicate of #1396 which was recently fixed in a newer release. Can you confirm that appears to be the same issue? If so, close this out and you'll receive the fix during a future update.

I'm having exactly this issue on NC 26.0.3 and Photos 2.2.0 on PHP 8.2.
