UI to remove a user from a user group, if user is in multiple groups is misleading

Bug description

When you place a user into multiple user-groups and want to remove him from one of those groups, this is only possible for a few of them as the others are not shown in the UI. (see screenshot at the bottom of this post)

Clicking on the dropdown menue the already-assigned groups are not highlighted or marked. therefore selecting the group from the dropdown to remove it from the list does not work neither.

Steps to reproduce

1. create multiple user groups. group names should not be too short.
2. add one user to all of those groups
3. try to remove the user from the last group.

Expected behavior

I expect that all groups are shown so I can click on the X to remove one of the groups or that already assigned groups are visually selected in the dropdown so that clicking on them again removes them from the selection.

Update: i just found out, that the icon on the lower left ist not a second line of groups that is (mostly) hidden. instead it is a scrollbar. so maybe i was just to stupid to understand it. but there is deffinetly room for improvement.
