Ideas Welcome! Choose meaningful first map position

Currently, the app opens at the position of the town Wesseling because I was there once. This is not useful for many people. What would be a good position to show the app the first time?

My ideas:

• Should it show the place where the language is spoken which is chosen?

You can propose an idea and the person implementing it can choose which is best for them.

If GPS on: Current position
If GPS off: View that was open last time the app was opened

In #316, using the coarse location was proposed as the default position.

I believe this is a good idea, one that would fit most situations on a first use.
xjcl's idea would also fit really well as a second step, but would probably require a little more work.
